Flock of Birds
Starting in 1988, we worked with Ascension Technology to create the Flock of Birds and Extended Range Controller 6-degree of freedom trackers. In brief, each receiver makes up to 144 position and orientation measurements per second. You can track the motion of just your head or all the key joints of your body. We were responsible for digital design, target system firmware, the Fast Bird Bus protocol, host application software (written in 'C', Basic and x86 Assembly) and a wide variety of test tools. |
