HT Commercial Unit
The Microprocessor Designs team was called in to help with the design early on in the products’ life. Together with Segway™, we developed a system architecture that supported the product requirements. This included specifying all the processors, preliminary benchmarking, defining communications format and protocols, key component selections, circuit board size estimates, and cost of goods estimates.
The group worked closely with the development team at Segway™ to specify the hardware and firmware architectures for the Control Unit, User Interface, Inertial Measurement Unit, Battery Controller and Control Unit Tester.
